hellooo singaporeon!!! Nice to meet a fellow buddies.. I use Manglish sometimes lah.. haha :)

Singlish is good because it represents the UNIQUE identity of Singapore.. just same at Scotland.. You understand how Scottish speak English? ... spooky lah brother.. haha :) Singlish is good but just don't use it in formal situation and you can communicate with all the people in different society ranks.. so it's like a win-win situation... People just feel friendly and easy if you speak their language..

as it goes.. "when in Rome, do what the Romans do"...

I think that you mean Spanglish.

I don't see a use for a bastardized language. To have a society accomodate a culture with such a form of communication is to first believe that the culture is inferior and cannot learn a new language. This is an arguement quite similar to that of affirmative action.
