I am on your side. I do, perhaps, believe that the earth might be warming slightly, but I do not believe there is anything Man can do about it. Even liberal scientists say that the earth has been warming for thousands of years-long before man has had the means to spew enough toxic gases to actually warm the planet. When Mt. St. Helens erupted it released more ozone depleting gases than all of Mankind has in its entirety. Also, 20% of all carbon emissions come from livestock in New Zealand. So driving a hybrid car and using no air conditioning will not stop global warming. Do you think that even if air conditioning and gasoline-run cars are banned that the politicians and celebrities will be sweating in the summer? No, they will continue to jet-set around the world and drive their limos and blast the air conditioners. Until THEY stop using those things, I will continue to drive my Chevy and blast the cooling system.

Global warming isn't going to turn the whole world into a roasting oven, it will just drive the temperature up by a degree or two per year. However, this still generates problems because of the sensitivity of climate zones to minor changes and things. Almost every part of the United States will still get some chilly weather (except for Florida & Hawaii). You'll get cold air in Texas as large chilled air masses are driven down from the North - the Canadian shield provides a large region for air masses to get pretty darn cold & there are no geographic barriers to prevent it from sliding over the great plains & straight into Texas.

If you'd like year-round warm weather, move to some place near the Equator.

Global warming only exists in the minds of politically correct egg head scientists receiving funding from liberal environmental groups. Go to the tropics if you want some warm weather.

It's called winter, D H. It gets cold in the winter, and hot in the summer. If you don't want to be cold in the winter, you can always move to the equator.
