You're assuming that holding hands in other cultures has the same meanings that it does for you. Not necessarily.
Also, never underestimate the double standards of sexual discrimination. Why is full female nudity such an accepted and generally ubiquitous aspect of American movies when full male nudity is almost absent?

you may no longer evaluate a guy to a woman. each is diverse. yet a guy, and a woman, supplement one yet another. In different words, one guy and one lady (together) is one unit. they seem to be a complementary pair.
