My dog is shaking his fur off probably and he keeps lifting his paw. He acts like some animal attacked him while he was outside. And i dont know if he went to the bathroom cuz he usually shakes if we find out that he went to the bathroom in the house. So...hes acting really freaky. He lifts up his paw and shakes like he never did b4. Is something wrong with my dog? He isn't bleeding though.

I was told when dogs lift their paw, it is a sign of insecurity, they are not sure of a situation they are seeing.

Check his toenails, if they aren't clipped they can grow in a circle and push back into his paw, this can be painful and cause infection. Check over the paw carefully and push on the pads and between them. If your dog pulls back like he is in pain, you should get him to a vet. Could someone have stepped on his paw, it could be an injury like that. Also, one dog we had, had hair that grew extremely fast between the pads of her feet. It would bother her so we would need to trim it once in a while. If there are no signs of pain and long hair there, try clipping it. The best thing though if you can't figure it out, go to a vet. They may be expensive, but you certainly don't want your best friend going through something that might be painful or upsetting. Good luck.

It is possible that your dog has sprained/twisted his ankle/elbow/shoulder. This can happen if they merely jump wrong, just as it can with people. If this has been going on for several hours, I would take him to the vet to be checked out. This happened to my dog and she had to be put on meds to keep her calm and sedated so the trauma could heal. Do not give your dog people meds, please. If it is a sprain or a strain and the dog is not kept sedated, the injury will only get worse. Please take him to get checked out by your vet. Better safe than sorry.

that´s a reaction of insecurity, was he out with other dogs? Or have you been angry with him?
