Is your dog treated more like the pet they are or like a little human? If your dog is one of the spoiled/pampered ones what kinds of spoiled behaviors does it have?
Does your dog get jealous if it isn't the center of attention....give me your stories---brag your babies/pets up....

My dog, for instance, gets very jealous and protective if anyone touches me. My family and friends will go to give me a hug and Leo is right there trying to squeeze between our legs and force us apart and barking most of the time (and it is amazing how good he is at it--he is a Boston Terrier so he's not that large).

It really depends how your spoiling. If you spoil by giving into what ever your dog wants when s/he wants it then you now created a leader of a pack and it's not you. If you mean when you go out you bring home toys and spend lots of time on walks then that's great. To many treats is no good for your dogs health either is people food, this makes your dog happy sure but you are making an unhealthy dog. Loving your dog and spoiling are 2 different things.

My dog has shoes to but they are the same as the police dogs wear to protect her feet from glass that frequently appears on the paths by our fields.
My dog likes to jump up on my lap and be cradled like a baby and goes to sleep on my lap. I WILL NOT ever give her anything other than dog treats and dog food and hate people giving her anything human. My dog is spoiled because she hogs my attention and gets loads of fussing for literally hours on end and loads of walks 2 times a day round the feilds for at least half hour. She even has her own web site lol http://bordercolliebabe.spaces.live.com/
sad or what

I have 2 dogs, a german shepherd/dingo cross and a maltese/pekinese cross. They are both fairly spoiled as our kids are grown and have their own lives so they're like our children. They do act like young children too in many ways.
Aztec, the gs/d cross, is a real boy, even though he's been neutered, so he's hard to spoil. The only thing he wants is to have his belly rubbed. When he wants a belly rub, he lies on the floor on his back inviting a rub. The other thing he does is he insists on going outside. When he wants to go, he wants to go.......now!
Gizmo, the little m/p cross, is a different one altogether. He always wants attention. When I'm on the net, I'll lean back in my chair and I'll have a small animal on my chest. Never misses. When I go to bed he's there lying next to me asking for a pat. My wife goes to bed he comes back for more. He also has a job of supervising showers and toilet. He's very jealous. When Aztec gets a pat or belly rub, Gizmo tries to get in the way of any pat, pushing himself under your hand. All in all though, they're great dogs. They give a lot of love.

Our Dog Rudy is more like a child then a dog to us. He is so spoiled. He sits on my hubbies lap and gives him kisses all the time. We also have a cat who is just as spoiled if not more. They do not get along however. We wish they would. But we love them just the same.

My dogs are so spoiled!! They lay on the couch and they sleep in the bed right between my parents! All my friends think that they shouldn't be treated like humans so much. I love my dogs and they're my kids! I love my dogs and they deserve the best.

i think he's pretty spoiled. we have a mini dach, and he is our child. we don't have kids yet, so he gets whatever he wants. he had pancreitis, and we spent $660 on that, noth to mention the other thousands of dollars spent on food, toys, clothes, and vet bills. and he's only 8 mths old!

so yes, he is spoiled, but he is here to stay. he does get jealous when my hubby gives me a kiss, and he is very protective of the apartment. he'll growl and bark if he thinks someone is coming into the apartment. he ONLY gets dog food to eat, not human food. i want him to live a long time.

of course my Rottie is spoiled, why else would i have him
He takes up almost the entire bed,& lets us know when it is time to go to bed (he will come get us from the living room, & run back to the bedroom). He has caused me to fall out of bed more than once when he extends his legs
When he feels hes not getting enough attention he grumbles (rottie version of talking) until we talk to him
I know this is stupid, but when i ask him "you want me to pet the doggy" he comes running over & plops in front of me for petting.
He is a gigantic spoiled clown dog & i wouldnt have it any other way

my fur babies (both rat terriers, one female and one male) are beyond a doubt SPOILED ROTTEN
in the house they have their own little (childrens) chairs they sit in
in the car they have car seats for safety and know if theyre not buckled up the car wont move
for out and about we bought a twin stroller for them to ride in because of the fact i am in a wheelchair and its easier to have them under control like that
they also have their own blankets and full wardrobes
oh and dont dare call them (whispers here) dogs, theyre babies !

My dog is pretty spoiled. Since I'm at college, my room is pretty much his now. He sleeps on my bed and does whatever he wants. On his last birthday I let him eat a little vanilla ice cream. I taught him how to eat off a spoon. I pretty much let him do whatever.
