I recently got dumped, because my girlfreind felt that i was distracting her from God. I know this is true and the only reason because i went out with her for two months and i know what an amazing sense of personal integrity she has. I'm not Christian, (sort of Athiest), and she felt like if she spent time with me then she wasn't truly putting God into every aspect of her life. She needs time to truly figure out her relationship with God, and we decided to talk about getting back together in a month or so. That time is coming soon. So, that all being said, how can i convince her to take me back? will she? do any christians have a veiwpoint they want to let me in on? I love this girl a lot

Try praying. You may just end up feeling the same way she does about God. And if you truly love her then you would know it wouldn't be the best thing for her to be with a person who doesn't understand or believe in the same things she does. Sometimes... you need to let the ones that you love go. That is... if you truly love them. And I know you do. Good luck and God bless!

She isnt taking time out to think about her relationship withGod she already knows what she wants. She already has a realtionship with God what she doesnt have is a boyfriend that has a relationship with God, which is very important to a devout Christian and eventually marraige only one person being a christian and loving God is not enough in a marraige or serious relationship. Its called being unequally yoked. It causes termoil, and sadness in ones life. She knows God will always be there for her, you however are Human, and untill she sees and knows of your undying love for both her and God, it wont work, unless she gives upGod, which I bet shes not willing to do.

Its like Chris Rock said If shes into god you have to be too. A atheist and a zealot wont work.

Speaking from the Catholic perspective, if her beliefs are that strong about God & yours aren't & this is important to her, you either adopt her attitude (or try) or leave it alone. One day you may marry her & then what will you do about her beliefs...what if you have kids...what will you teach them? You have to look at it all the way around.

I think she was trying to let you down easy. If she's an evangelical and she was not able to convert you, she won't come back - unless she thinks there is still a chance you would cross over.
