Not unless you're planning to do this for quite a long time. Trivial dollars. You're also ignoring one other non-economic factor. Temps outside will fluctuate -- say between -10 and 30. That kind of temperature fluctuation is bad for certain types of food -- potatoes for example and ice cream. Would you want to sacrifice eating quality just to save very few dollars? [All of this assumes you have a separate freezer. If you're talking about a combo refrig-freezer, you won;t save anything becasue you really can't turn the freezer part completely off while using the refrigerator].

It depends on the type of freezer. You're far more likely to waste any savings on spoiled food or food damaged and/or stolen while it's outside.

Chest freezers are far more effective and cheaper than uprights, but both use relatively little energy. Just make sure the frost is kept to a minimum, the door is kept closed as much as possible and don't overload it.

Unless you turn the freezer off, you won't save anything. You need temperature control as well. You could resort to dried and canned foods. Those do not require refrigeration. Heavily salted foods also keep better. The problem is that heavily salted foods are not good for you.

You would save the electricity by turning off the freezer.
If a dog ate or took a leak an your groceries you would loose your advantage.

If you leave your freezer pluged you will spend more money, The more you have in your freezer that is frozen the less the compessor has to kick on.It's also best to put a few 1gallon jugs of water in your freezer if it is not full to help out on energy savings.

I would imagine the savings would be negligible. You would do better cutting down usage of things like washing machines, heating, irons, kettles, air con. They use a lot of electricity. TVs and lights are ok though.
