it will provide more space for the city to expand.. and improve the city's image from a slum city to a global hot-spot fashion city.. its high time govt. took necessary actions to remove those slums and make way for a cleaner city.. this would also eliviate land shortage problem faced by mumbai..it is also worth mentioning that all the slums in mumbai are illegal.. and so people living there should be shown little mercy and bannished from the city at the earliest...

slums are homes of the have-not's.we must pity them , not a contempteous comment. What will happen if houses in some posh area are demolished? There is no difference in this and your question. We must think of making the slums livable-hygenic surrounding with basic civic amenities. These slum-dwellers who are willingly accepting the place for their living will be happy and thank the civic body which will provode such faclities.

How about seeing these "slum dwellers" as what they are-PEOPLE! They are people trying to survive. Help them get an education, work, build places for them to live.Let them participate in getting out of poverty, you are investing in your own country. India can get out of third-world status if it cared more about using the resources it has now (human, natural) to build itself up.

If you know that you have royal blood in you, and you are a Prince/Princess. Then you should take it for the positive and know what you must do. What would happen if you discovered that you have royal blood I wouldn't care what people think or say to me I wouldn't say nothing at all. This is you , YOU have royal blood

BOMBAY, not Mumbai. Quit this changing everything's name all the time. What the natives call it has no relevance; the Greeks have called Greece "Hellas" for 3,000 years and they don't whine about being called Greeks.
