I don't have cable and heard something on the radio, that they are moving all nascar races to cable. Thanks.

NBC did not renew contract and lost out to ABC/ESPN.

NBC is no longer part of the NASCAR television package. Personally, I think that's a good thing because they showed more commercials than racing. FOX has all of the Daytona festivities (Bud Shootout, Gatorade 150s, and the Daytona 500), and concludes its schedule with the Dover race on June 3. The Nextel Open and All-Star Challenge are the only exceptions, being aired on Speed. TNT takes the next six races, beginning with Pocono on June 10 and ending with Chicago on July 15.

ESPN will cover the last seven races leading to the Chase (Allstate 400 at Indy through the Chevy Rock & Roll 400 at Richmond). ABC will have the entire Chase (the last ten races).

I don't know if TNT is using the same crew as last year, or if they have made some changes because of the addition of ABC/ESPN into the mix.

Yes. 6 Races will be on TNT and the Allstate 400 will start ABC (Actually ESPN on ABC) portion of the season. FOX will have the Daytona 500 all the way until Dover 1st race.

TNT I think will still have Wally's World for those 6 races

Yes its true NBC will not care a single race this year. First part of the season is on Fox then a few will air on TNT, then it goes on ESPN and finally finishes on ABC.
Anyone that says that NBC is carrying some races have not looked at the 2007 schedule yet because they lost the contract last year. If you dont have cable then I am sorry. But for those of us that do IT ROCKS since NothingButtCommercials (NBC) sucked as@ on coverage. I ues to dread it when it was a NBC race since they never showed that much anyways.
Ohwell I got the direct tv hotpass so I should not have to deal with commercials at all!

Yep...Nascar races are going to be shown on FOX, FX, Speed, ABC/ESPN, TNT.

If you want to listen to the Nascar races on the radio try findind a MRN radio station. Go to their website and look up what radio station MRN uses in your city/town.

Yeehah, if that is the case. I thought the NBC coverage was the most boring ever, especially this past year. While I cannot stand Mr. Boogity over there on Fox, at least they keep it interesting.

Yes it's true. The races this year will be on FOX, TNT, Speed, ABC & ESPN. Here's a link, I think "Birdy" provided this link earlier, that shows you the NASCAR television schedule.

NBC is going to do like 6 races and I hated all those freaking commercials and they wouldnt even know who they were talking about and Wally is arrogant and half the time they would say the wrong drivers name and they had no clue what they were doing, and I hated NBC and all the announcers I mean some of them were okay but most of them sucked. Im glad I like ABC hopefully wont be as commercial hogged.

yes it is true, that NBC is not carrying the races anymore and that they will have it for 6 races this season and then it will go to ABC and ESPN for the rest of the season! After the Chicagoland race it will be on ABC and ESPN for the rest of the season!
