Have a movie night not too scary or inappropriate or not to childish maybe like a pg movie or a pg-13 movie not to gross. make popcorn and pickle. First make sure if they can have popcorn and pickle. Find like maybe 2 movies (so it can last the whole babysitting day). If they get bored with that maybe play games or if the parents are gonna be out long then maybe make a fun snack that you can decorate. I can tell you when I was small I used to love doing those things! lol! Hoped I helped! ♥

For one, get the 6th grader to help you out with the other two children, I was baby sitting and doing minor child care jobs a little bit earlier than that age.
You can put on puppet shows, plays, have them help cook dinner or what ever meal it is time for. Play tag, hide and seek and much more.
Try and find a common interest for all of them. The 6th grader will not appreciate being treated like a child since they are in that "pre-teen" age. You can always go out to the local park or just go for a walk in the neighborhood. Use your imagination, step in to your kiddy shoes for a couple of hours but remember that you are the care giver, being a kid for a few hours is alot of fun, i did it and had a blast.

If the sixth grader is responsible enough to be left alone for short periods of time with the younger kids, just have a friend or neighbor check-in on them. I would strongly suggest Red Cross babysitter training for the sixth grader. Also have all meals and snacks planned and prepared beforehand. Trust your instincts whether the sixth grader can handle it. Regardless, I would not leave them alone more than a couple hours without someone checking on them and never overnight or for a whole day.

Hire a babysitter for all 3, your 6th grader isn't old enough to take care of the younger two. If your 6th grader doesn't want to have a sitter, consider allowing him/her to go to a friends for a play date while you have a babysitter for the other kids.
Each of my daughters has taken a babysitting class during their 6th grade year to gain more responsibility and prepare themselves to babysit when they are in middle and high school. It's been a good path that leads to income for them and a responsible sitter for yourself.

Color/draw, play "restaurant", watch a video (parent approved). You can do things and get the 6th grader to help, or let the 6th grader to their own thing and worry more about the little ones.

Movies are always good. Having movie night with popcorn and all the trimmings worked iwth my kids.
Also praise the 6th grader's ability to be mature and ask his or her opinion. And the 6th grader will be your best weapon to help with the smaller ones.
Crafts or even making small things like rice krispie treats, smores brownies are good with each one doing their level of help.

If you don't know what to do....you should NOT be babysitting. I hope the parents of these three children get a better babysitter than you.
Obviously...put a movie in, play video games, spend time with them, play a board game, hide and seek, restaurant, grocery store, teacher, puzzles, or read a book to them!

Some babies do sit. Some aren't so steady to sit. But when they sit they're cute.
