I feel strongly attracted to this classy, pretty, and smart girl in my English class. She is a liberal person and smokes cigarettes. She looks somewhat attracted to me because she looks at me quite often. I notice her frequent look at me, and so does a confidant of mine. Anyway, I wonder what she'll think about me. I'm a very regimented person who studies all day, finishes off the day with an intense workout, doesn't smoke or drink. What do female smokers think about dudes who don't smoke? Do they ridicule non-smokers or do they respect them or neither? I'm so curious because I like the girl.

Personally, I am not interested in if a man smokes. Drinking was an issue for me so I prefer men who don't drink. Otherwise, I wouldn't care either way as long as it wasn't a problem. I wouldn't think she would care either as long as you both share some common interests and a general like for eachother. Don't try to make her quit smoking, just be a positive example for her. I smoke, but I certainly wouldn't hold it against a guy if he didn't. I would admire his abilitly to live a healthier lifestyle and strive to be a little more like him. Good luck! You sound like a nice guy and if you treat her well and are a good friend to her, it will happen.

sounds like you're a cool guy! smoking is sometimes just a habit which may not necessarily define a person in a great deal. It may only mean a sign of weakness or a tool of dealing with anxiety. what i am saying is just treat her like a regular girl who happens to smoke. the way you brought up this question and emphasize the smoking part actually makes people wonder whether you're a strong anti-smoking guy. millions of people smoke and they come in millions of personalities! discover her and get to know her and you'll find out her views for non-smokers and many others! good luck!

Well, I am currently off the market however, I wouldn't date a guy who drinks, smokes, or did drugs. And I do none of the above.

Personally I like a man who doesnt smoke. I wouldnt ridcult them if they didnt. If she does then you know she isnt worth your time but I bet you anything she wont say a thing about it. Go ahead and ask her out and find out all about her. See what all you DO have in common.

I don't mind if a guy does'nt smoke or drink,it's up to them,personality is important in a relationship,so if you like this girl,then ask her out.

You know opposites attract. As long as she respects you for not smokin and you try not to change her mind about smokin then you might be alright.
