Lots of sites allow you to enter a food item to gets its calories. But none I have seen are all that great. Some are very limited in the number of items they have, and others have waaaay too much advertsiing. Any recommendations?

Added three links below. One is free after registration, one is free with advertising, and the last is cumbersome to use, but ad free.

http://nutritiondata.com is pretty good

But I like http://www.dailyplate.com because not only can you search foods, but you can keep track of what you eat on a daily basis, keep calorie goals, and track your weight-loss as well.
