Plasma is a gas, however there are television products called plasma tv's.
The Plasma tv works by having phosphor gas, not plasma built into the unit at the point of manufacture.
Plasma is now widely used in the science and technology world and is being adapted for products including plastics, rubbers, and many other man made objects.
Hospitals use plasma technology in some of their equipment and because of the ability of plasma gas the accuracy of measuring instruments are greatly improved.
Hope this helps.
Oh, just as a side note one of your answers stated that the LCD tv's were better than plasma tv's. this is not neccessarily true, because studies have shown that upto 37 inch the lcd is better, from 40 inch and larger the plasma screen has proven benefits such as non pixelisation when watching an object such as a ball move. They also stated that the plasma on a wall was light, again this is incorrect. an average 42 inch plasma tv weighs approximately 40Kg, 50 inch upto 65Kg and therein heavier as they grow in size.

Plasma is a technology in which some of the new tv's are made. Plasma is mostly japanese invention and only couple of companies have facilities to make them.
If a tv is on a wall it is plasma because only plasma is that light.
I don't know how they are made but I know that they are easier to make and production is cheaper than LCD tv but their price is high because there aren't enough factories that make them.
Plasma is also a "part" of blood. Plasma is just liquid and everything else is in blood(eritrocites, leucocites...)

Plasma carries soluble substances in your blood. It is basically what is left over when you take away red blood cells that carry oxygen, white blood cells which carry antibodies and platelets which help blood to clot.
