antlers grow wrapped in a thick layer of velvet and remain that way for several months, until the bone inside is hard. later the velvet is torn away, not shed contrary to popular belief. they dont shed their antlers so if u want a antler(s) from a deer u can go hunting or go to a taxidermy. if u want antlers from a animal that sheds in Kansas, u can find elk antlers. there is a wildlife preserve right outside Canton, Kansas. it is called the Maxwell wildlife preserve. depending on the size of the antler u find depends on the cost. i hope this helps u! good luck

I was 16, I am 30 now. Honestly I didn't really want to, but collapsed under the social pressure. I would take it back anyday and wish I had waited until at least a few more years. I was only with the person for about 6 months. *shrugs* I was scared the first time, but thats completely natural I think, even if you are with someone you truly love.

Deer in most places usually shed their antlers right after the new year.

Some started at the end of December. I was out quail hunting, and found a fresh shed, and that was a few days before New Year's Day.

Go looking now. Any day is a great day for a stroll in the woods.

January, look around fence lines. When they jump over them the jolt of landing causes them to be knocked off.
