Eliminate all carbs. That includes pasta, rice, breads, sugar, and sadly some vegetables and fruits. Eat as much salad, meat, eggs, peanut butter, cheese, sour cream, salad dressing (not the low fat kind). Just check labels for carbohydrate count and keep it as close to 10 carbs per day as possible.
I had to lose weight for some surgery and that is how I did it. If you dont continue to follow the diet, you will gain the weight back. So it needs to be a lifestyle change....a permanent decision to limit or eliminate these items from your diet. Try a search for Atkins, low carb diet, or south beach diet. Best of luck!

if you want to improve your health generally, lose weight and have more energy then getting some nutritional help is vital. Once your body starts to absorb the right nutrients and vitamins and protein then you’ll be amazed how quickly you will feel the difference, usually within the first 48 hours if you get the right supplements and help. I had no energy and felt just generally rotten all round so I sought the advice of a nutritional coach (whose advice was FREE) and got myself some great products, I even got free samples before I got started so I could see just how good they were!! There is a website called myhealthabc.com If go on there and fill out the details (you must be over 18 and you’ll need a debit or credit card-or someone who can help you) page you will get a call with no pressure about what you need. There is a mall area as well that’s got some great info and its all set out with easy to follow headings so you can find what you want. It’s so easy and the stuff they have is excellent. I have been using their products for over two years and I feel great. I lost 70 pounds in less than seven months!! My sister lost 60 pounds in five months. The stuff is amazing. Try them you won’t be disappointed. I even started to use their skin care range last year and my skin is in such good condition now

Raw and living foods diet. Try Alissa Cohen's book, "Living On Live Food' (alissacohen.com). Juice fasting is excellent for detoxification. You will need kitchen appliances such as a juicer for juicing (I recommend Greenstar juicer for veggies and leafy greens, and Breville juice fountain for fruits). For raw and living foods, you need a food processor and blender. Eventually you'll want an Excalibur dehydrator, and you may eventually want a mandoline such as the Borner V slicer and a vegetable spiral slicer such as the Beriner Cook Help for making raw Italian dishes. For sprouting seeds and grains, all you need is a couple of sprout bags. I love the raw and living foods diet. It is completely vegan, nothing is cooked over 105 degrees, and I feel so much more alive and energetic and healthy. My moods are lighter and more even, and everything you make is like a new and wonderful creation, a virtual taste explosion every bite! The choices are endless and it's a lot of fun. This is a lifestyle, not a diet. You do not need to count calories. But you will see results that exceed your expectations, without a doubt. This is something that has changed my life for the better in so many ways. I highly recommend doing the research, reading about it, and Alissa's book is where I recommend you start.

Special k bars instead of snacks should help alot. The ones with chocolate bits in are nice. But don't have more than about 4-5 a day beacause your body won't be able to handle the change.

Anything that would have you lose weight quickly will only make you gain it back quicker. plus not to mention the loose skin that will result from it.

LOSING, not "loosing"
WEIGHT LOSS, not "weigh loose"
The sad truth is that weight loss occurs ONLY when you take in fewer calories than you burn.
Eat less. Exercise more.
