Part of the reason why we face global warming today is due to the excessive pollution from industrialisation. If humanity could reverse time, could we still have industrialised without having to contribute to global warming?

I doubt it. Even today we can't convinve people to just REDUCE the pollution they emit. If you go back in history: Try telling a bunch of people who ride horses they cant buy this new thing called the car because it makes the air dirty. They will have to wit about 100 years until we have the technology for cleaner burning cars. It wont work. People induistrialized because they wanted to conveniences and lower prices of things that could only be made in factories. There was no way anyone could have prevented people from fulfilling those desires with tthe threat of global warming sometime in the future.

Of course it largely depends on the industry they are developing. Nations who are developing usually don't have the funds to develop in a clean environmentally friendly way and this is one thing Kyoto is trying to remedy.

According to an announcement this week by the global warming "Chicken Littles" global warming is irreversible and will continue for the next thousand years no matter what we do.

So I guess we can all stop talking about this bull crap and just start living our "best-and-most-prosperous-in human-history" lives again.

No. Industrialization requires vast supplies of electricity. China is a good example. Their economy is growing out of control. China plans on building hundreds of coal burning power plants. Pollution will only worsen.
