If they still want to shave is that subconcious thinking that they really do no want equality.

They don't shave in some parts of Europe. But I see your point.

Nobody says you need to, but most guys find it attractive (Im a guy and most of the time I do anyway) and I have heard it feels a lot better and if I wasn't gonna make me look stupid if try it too. The bottom line is your body is your body and you can do whatever you want with it, its no conspiracy, and most women in Europe do now days but it is a french tradition to not shave or wear deodorant and I find that just gross, though its really more the deodorant part. Anyway nobody is to say what you can and cant do just know that if you live in the western first world it will turn off most guys.

I don't shave for equality reasons, for a guy, or even to look good. I shave for ME.

Because I like the feeling of smooth legs. Because I prefer that I didn't have hair under my arms.

That's the ONLY reason I shave. It has nothing to do with woman's lib.

There was a time in America when liberal women burnt their bras and stopped shaving their legs. They said it was because of women's lib. They said it was because they wanted men to stop pressuring them into shaving. But, many of those women turned out to be lesbians. Many of the women in the N.O.W. organization are lesbians. They don't shave their legs or underarms, and they definitely don't shave their pubic hair. They do resemble men. Most heterosexual women remove their body hair for the same reason most heterosexual men shave their faces. It's cleaner and more attractive.

Don't worry. Most attractive women in the US will always shave. Only militant man haters will stop or already have. Shaving has nothing to do with equality. In fact, I shave my face every day. That doesn't make me feel less equal.

IT is because body hair is associated with manliness and women like to be feminine. Therefore they shave their underarms, legs, mustaches, some even shave their arms!

You're thirty-seven years too late to be asking this. Women's libbers (as if anyone seriously says that anymore) have more important things to worry about than body hair. A stubbly leg is not tantamount to gender equality. I'm as proud a feminist as anyone, and I still shave, because I (me, myself, singular) would prefer smoothness. It's not like I enjoy the sight of hair anywhere but my head.

This is the year 2007, women's lib started a long long time ago.
Anyways, some shave because they like it better themselves. Some women don't because they don't want to. Goes both ways. I don't think it's so much because it's "subconscious".

It's all about personal choice.
I don't believe shaving has anything to do with equality.
