it has been almost 6 months of mutal understanding and i don't know how long can i keep up with this kind of set-up. he brings me home everyday, does things for me, holds my hand once in a while.. you get the whole point.. it's as if all we need is the whole formality thing to make things clear (the whole status of our relationship.. ) i'm guessing that he just needs a push. how can i give him a hint that he can formally ask me "the question" without being so obvious? thanks much!

yes, he does call me every night to let me know he's home, and then we talk about things that happened that day, music, family, etc.

you can talk to him and communicate your feelings. either you communicate or let him move in his own time. that's my feelings. cause then it looks like to me your trying to con and manipulate the situation to work out to what best suits you and not take into consideration what he wants as well. so i say talk to him and let go of the secrecy into moving it were you want to go

When a guy asks a girl out, he is putting himself in the position of Charlie Brown getting a place kick from Lucy.

Why would most women rather die than give a dude any kind of clue?

Sometimes it only gets harder for a guy the longer this kind of thing goes on.

If you only want to date jerks and bad boys who go around making passes at women all day long, this is a good stratagy. They could care less if you shine them off, cause they have another girl they will be asking in about 5 minutes.

You risk very little by giveing a bit of a hint to a guy you are into.

When he walks you home, and you guys are holding hands...kiss him. It doesn't matter why. Just do it. If you guys are holding hands and he is walking you home, that is the push he needs. Make sure he has your number tho, he will definetly be calling you that night or the next day after he thinks about it. :) Good Luck!!

Tell him too much love is scary. He seems obsessive.
Let him know you can take care of yourself and he is acting like a babysitter.
I think he loves you, and he is trying to buy your love with material things and gestures. Tell him to stop or you will get a restraining order on him for being so damn crazy.

You know it's obvious that his got a feeling for you and I think he knows also that you like him. If not, you will not let him hold your hand, right? So why don't you ask him?
Asking a man, specially in your case, is not for old fashioned people.Just don't be too aggressive when you ask him.

1: Ask the question yourself!!
2: Secondly, hints don't work with men. You literally have to spell it out. Hence: go to 1.
3: Thirdly: saying it's the men's task to ask the question, is really really old-fashioned.

I hate not knowing where you stand in a relationship. It is espically hard for a woman. I hate the not knowing thing. It drives me crazy. Why don't you just ask him.
