I'm in love with a girl but it wasn't even like that at first. When I first met her I thought she was gonna be one of those stuck up girls but I was wrong. I got to know her over time. Each second with her was like a piece of heaven. I asked her if she cared about me she said yes and she said yes to be my valentines. I heard from one of her friends that she had a boyfriend. I didn't believe it at first but I went to her to confirm it and it was true. I feel so played, misused, and left out in the rain. Was all that time with her really pointless? I don't know what to do anymore...

That is beautiful to hear. I believe you did feel those things, and that was special, and I'm sure she in her way felt them as well.

BUT, back right off now. Let this one be, trust me. Don't talk to her at all and see what happens. If she is to be with you she will break it off with the boyfriend and come to you. If not, nevermind you had a special experience and they say those who have loved are 10x more likely to love again.

What she did wasn't good, but I don't think she was playing you. It sounds like it may have been genuine and she was confused with the boyfriend as well. Young girls go through these confusions.

Be like water man, just slide over problems like this and don't let them get in your way. Chicks dig that. And its more likely to get her by doing nothing than anything else. Especially pressuring her to dump the boyfriend. She probably feels **** about that and has to make a decision so don't make it harder for her or she will resent you

Good luck

I think first of all you would need to change that phrase

"I'm in love"

to

"I have a crush"

She is a liar for not being honest with you about having a boyfriend and you deserve better. Look! Today is February 3rd. you still have 11 days to find a Valentine. Start looking and let this "CRUSH" go. Again you deserve better!

Good Luck!

Well, keep hoping. I am sure she didn't mean intentionally. And all that time with her was definitely not pointless! If you care about her as much as you say you do, you'll wait for her to realize you care for her and are always there for her.

Been there, done that, got a t-shirt and an over-sized poncho.

Much as it hurts initially, the only thing you can do is chalk it off as experience, forget her and move on.

maybe she meant she cared about you as a friend. Keep talking to her, she probably really likes you as a friend.

oh you poor darling! how could she say she'd be your valentine when she's already attached... unless she has feeling for you and her feeling for current boyfriend are not as strong. goodluck!
