He has never eaten vegetables in all the time I have known him (17 years) because they give him a terrible upset stomach. I worry because I know that veg is pretty much the most important food nutrition-wise and even though he is not in dire straits at the moment I am scared his not eating veg will catch up with him and make him unwell. It is not possible for him to eat them, or even drink veg juice to compensate because he cannot handle the stomach problems he gets when he does. What I want to know is what should he do about this? Is there some other thing he can have to substitute veg? Will anything bad happen to him? Also, if there is anyone out there who is in the same boat and cannot eat veg, what do you do about it?

The thing that would concern me there is the lack of vitamins and minerals. This is a simple thing, but can he take a multivitamin? That might help to set both your minds at ease.

Also, if he hasn't, now would be an excellent time to talk to a doctor about this.
