Yes.
There are several types of arthiristus. The one that you may be thinking of is osteoarthritis, which naturally occurs with old age and by excessive movement of the cartilage.
Definition: low-grade inflammation results in pain in the joints, caused by wearing of the cartilage or as you call it "Cracking your knuckles."
Note: There are no exact links connecting cracking your knuckles to getting arthritus but i would say that constant cracking over a long period of time could increase chances of arthritis.

I don't know if actually causes arthritis but I used to crack my knuckles. At 38 I am getting arthritis in my fingers. There is a family history of it so I don't know if my knuckle cracking caused it or not.

I'm not sure about getting arthritis.. But I did want to say that I am surprised that everyone has spelled it wrong, including the "Doctor". The suffix for Inflammation is "itis" thus, Arthritis.

I recently found out that was a myth. Apparently it does nothing. Here's a website from a quick google that explains it:

No. every single one of my health/anatomy teachers throughout the years has told me that it just relives air pressure between your joints and that it has nothing to do with arthritis.

No. There is no scientific evidence of this. It's an old-wive's tale.
