I was in this situation not to long ago. I have a friend that I love to death as a brother. His girlfriend of 5 years and my boyfriend of 3 years are very jealous of our friendship. A friendship is all that it is. However they have accused us of sleeping together and accused us of being alot more than friends. There accusations caused us to actually think of the possibility that we could actually fall in love and be good for one another. After considering it, which is something that we had never done before, we decided that we liked being friends and that a relationship other than friends would only complicate matters and would possibly later ruin our friendship that we both have high regards for. Ultimately we decided that we only wanted a friendship and that it was more important to preserve that relationship than to ruin our friendship if the love relationship should happen to go sour. So yes it is possible but the end result could be that you would lose your friendship and is it really worth taking that chance?

Why not???
By the way, these sort of questions can only originate from someone who is in India or around India. Am I right in guessing?
So you have this girl friend who used to consider you as an elder bro and suddenly started having a different kind of attraction. What was her age when she used to have 'sisterly' relationship and what is her age now? I am asking these questions since I don't want you to think negatively about that girl.
If she was say, 12 then and is say 18 or 20 or even 30 today, there is a possibility that she is attracted towards you as a person from opposite sex. Please don't blame he or scold her if you are planning to do that.
Trust me... she knows all your plus and minus points (since she has seen you from different levels) and will always be at your side. You should accept her whole heartedly as your 'friend' from this new angle.

heck yes its possible. if she treats you like an older brother than she already has feelings for you. ask her out. i think its great. most relationships happen because of big brother-likes. lol go for it. i know id say yea if i had a frend that i knew very well to say hes like an older brother

it is unquestionably a probability. i'm dealing with the comparable element. I met this female 2 years in the past and he or she is like by infant sister. I definitely have consistently had emotions for her yet I might desire to stay on the section lines and be there as a super brother.

well that depends on how you treat her. a girl would always fall for guys giving them special attention or special treatment. a simple, sweet and sincere smile could always make any girl's day!
