I personally like "naiya." But if you like both, why not put them together.

Well, Shanta is the name of my aunt, so I would certainly choose it, regarding,Naiya, I have not yet come across anybody with that name.

I think naiya
1st reason:- shanta is so old name(out of order)
2nd reason:-we expect from your child that it will become your "naiya" at old age and travelled from hurdles of life.

Use my trick. Make two small paper and write both name Shant or Naiya. Close the paper by number of fold. Shake it in glass or hand. Through it on ground and pick one. What ever it will be accept it.

I think...DO NOT USE SHANTA because all the kids will end up calling her SANTA.
