What kind of power do Liquor Inspectors have, particularly in Canada, but not to the exclusion of the US?

They make, of course, make the surprise visits to the establishments, but what would be their mission, their demeanour, and do you think that they are biased in any capacity because of a patrons appearance or because of their own personal discriminations?

They will appear as anybody else, they are looking for underage drinking, activities or games, bar promotions that will encourage binge drinking, they are also looking for the willingness the establishment has to serve the visibly intoxicated.

They can and will suspend a liqueur license if a bar is dispensing alcohol indiscriminately, and irresponsibly.
