Maybe your brother has a problem. Maybe he doesn't steal because he really wants or needs the phone, maybe he just feels the urge... Kleptomania is a compulsion, an irresistible impulse to steal in the absence of any economic motive. It is not resulting from other mental disorders related to stealing such as antisocial personality disorder or mania. There are celebrity kleptomaniacs as well, like Winona Ryder.
Do not accuse your brother as you won't get anywhere that way. Talk to him nicely, telling him you want to help him with his problem and maybe you can find some professional to consult.

What on earth did your brother pick with that a lot funds at the variety of comfy age???? be careful he has no longer were given some variety of drug or alcohol difficulty!!! Which i wish he does no longer. tell your dad and mom as he's a strategies too youthful to be doing the variety of stuff. in case you tell, you'd be doing him a favour interior the lengthy time period. Make him understand at this youthful age that what he's doing isn't properly so as that he doesnt advance up being a theif. Now he receives a smack out of your dad and mom - if some thing. yet later on in existence he will flow to penal complex!!!

Its a shame that your brother can steal from his own family, the best solution is don't let your son stay buy his house, and don't let your brother come over to yours. if you do hide all your valuable, its to bad that you can't trust your own brother. but you have to think about your family and how hard you worked for all the stuff that you got, and you don't need anyone exspecially your brother taking it. Your mom will one day face the problem with him when he does it to her. good luck.

Well, its best to confront your brother but maybe you should do it in private--- just the two of you. Talk to him and hear his reasons/intentions why he have the phone which he first denied... just be calm, and try to sound like you're there to listen to whatever his reasons is... finally explain to him what you really feel about what he did...

I would confront him about it. I would want to know why he would do that...and I would not allow my son back around him. I would let him know that. If he will steal a phone he will steal other things that are more valuable than a phone.

you need to confront the uncle.....have other things turned up missing before or is this the one and only thing? he is your brother and it would probably be better coming from you not your son.

That's awful.
You should defiantly confront him about the phone and tell your parents to be aware of his sticky fingers.
