gums are colored by melanin like skin. If she has a dark complection then there isn't much you can do. But if you're talking about an isolated area of darkness, I would have a dentist check it out.

in the previous brushing rub down your gums consisting of your index finger. Munch not ordinary stuff like apples or carrots . those will advance blood move on your gums and the shade will advance.

There is a wide variety of normal, and as long as her gums are healthy she just has to live with what she has. Like my kindergarten teacher said, "You get what you get, and you don't get upset."

that is genetic. usually darker pigmented people tend to have dark gums.
