In short no.
By the way, God the father did not "kill" Jesus, he allowed him to be sacrificed for the sins of humanity.
Your question is a good one. To answer comprehensively is difficult, but in short, the universal law is that "the wages of sin is death" (Rom 6: 23), now everyone has sinned (Rom 3: 23) and thus we are all condemned to death (eternal separation from God, not just death in this life). Jesus Christ was made to be sin for us by taking the sins of the whole world on him and dying to pay the penalty for this sin in our place. He died our death so that we may have the chance to live eternally with Him. That, my friend, is the gospel - awesome news.

Investigate the concept of Love more intently. Eros love is the physical love between a man and a woman. Philia love is brotherly love, or friendship love. Agape Love is the Love that God wants each human person to attain.
Jesus the Christ's life was a lesson in this complete form of Love. A current example that somewhat closely relates to this Agape Love are the firefighters who died rescuing the victims of WTC. They knew that chances were good that their personal life was on the line. Yet, they risked, sacrificed their lives to save a strangers life.
God is Love. Totally, Completely, Fully. He gave us Freewill in order for us to more completely experience total Love. To choose Love is an active surrendering of two towards each other. This is married love at its finest.
So, God could command that we obey Him, and we would be His slaves. But in slavery, we could never fully appreciate the choice of Love. Jesus was not murder because quite honestly He gave Himself over for each human person sake. Even those He had not yet met! Agape Love at it most pure.
God is Love. Jesus so loved the world that He gave His life for our salvation.

god can do anything he/she/it wants why did he create satan when he knew satan would screw around? and isnt the jesus thing an allegory between that and the passover lamb? i mean why is this god so hell bent on sin anyway? is he/she/it jealous cause he/she/it cant sin? maybe thats why god is angry over sin we can do what it cant cause why would god give us the abilty to sin if he/she/it hated it so much? maybe its for some sick amusement doesnt the bible and quran say god will lead some astray and make them non believers? and then why punish those he made into non believers? sounds sadistic to me but then again the jews say that hell is a christian concept i really dont care anyway if there is hell ill be happy to go there id rather burn and be free in hell than to be a servant in heaven

God is a just God and He told them that the penalty for sin was death. So it took death to pay the price and satisfy His justice. God sent His Son in love yet is was sinful man who killed Him. In His death we see the love and the justice of God coming together.

It is a legal thing.
God insists on doing things right ....legally.
So, as a basis of forgiveness ....He followed the idea of Romans 5:18,19
"As through one trespass the result to men of all sorts was condemnation, likewise also through one act of justification the result to men of all sorts is a declaring of them righteous for life. For just as through the disobedience of the one man many were constituted sinners, likewise also through the obedience of the one person many will be constituted righteous. . ."
