There is ample amount of evidence that the Old Testament has not changed. Even from 300 years before Muhammed's time.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dead_Sea_scrolls
If you know your quran then you know that it is written that Muhammed acknowledges the old testament that existed in his time, the same old testament as now.
The burden of proof is on those who say that the bible has been corrupted. Where are examples of different versions?
Muhammed was a Phoney Baloney Prophet who heard from a Phoney Baloney god.
Muhammed's bones are still in his grave.
Jesus has the power to rise from the dead, His bones are absent from His grave!
The "Real" God did not tell 54 year old Muhammed to have sexual intercourse with a 9 year old "Child"!!

http://www.papillonsartpalace.com/muhtpammed.htm
The "Real" God does not condone "Child Molesting"!!
The "Real" God loves you no matter what you say or do because;
Romans 5:8
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us
He is calling you to take you out of darkness into His Kingdom of light!!!
It is foolish not to listen to Him!
..............................................................................
To World_Gypsy,
You try to rationalize the Evil actions of Muhammed by certain laws of our country.
It doesn't work. I doubt those 12 and 14 year olds might have gotten married at a young age, but if they did, their husbands were not 54 years of age!
Aiesha was 9 YEARS OLD! Muhammed was 54 YEARS OLD! The Hadith's tell of her still playing with dolls!
Our prisons are full of dirty old men that did the same thing that Muhammed did!
They are called "Child Molesters!!
The "Real" God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. He did not condone Child Molesting yesterday, today, or "Ever"

i was told that the dead sea scrolls are the same as the oldest version of the old testament but what you d is read some pagan legends like the gilgamesh epic has the noah story before the jews twisted it and the story of the akkadian king sargon the great paralels the story of moses all before moses was real (which there is not one verifiable source that says that moses was real or that the jews were slaves in egypt its all myths and embellished history of the jews)

The OT has not changed.
The proof is with the finding of the "Dead Sea Scrolls"
Professor Julio Trebolle Barrera, a member of the international team of editors of the Dead Sea Scrolls, states:
“The Isaiah Scroll [from Qumran] provides irrefutable proof that the transmission of the biblical text through a period of more than one thousand years by the hands of Jewish copyists has been extremely faithful and careful.”

Sorry, don't have any answer to the question asked. Green lantern -- that link didn't work.
Richbro -- you seem to be obsessed with Aisha. You should realize that child marriage was common in that society and the marriage would not have been consummated before the bride reached puberty. In many societies, puberty is when a child becomes a woman, in her own eyes and in the eyes of society. You are trying to apply 21st century morality to the past -- doesn't work.
Were you also aware that 14-year-olds can marry with parental consent in 3 states in the USA? And even younger, if the bride is pregnant. Until 1997, it was legal for 12-year-old girls to marry in S. Carolina.
"South Carolina wasn't the only state allowing children to marry at age 12. It was legal in North Carolina, which increased the age to 14 two years ago. In Kansas, in the absence of legislative action, the state Supreme Court set the legal marriage age at 12 for girls and 14 for boys. New Hampshire still allows girls to marry at 13 and boys to marry at 14, though it also allows parents or guardians of married minors to petition for annulment.
And, legal or not, 12-year-olds have gotten married in Alabama.
Kathy Albritton of Mobile got married at age 12 in Covington County in 1972 to 17-year-old Tony Wayne Heathco. Covington County confirmed the marriage date but said her age was listed at 16. Albritton said she was never asked for proof of her age. She showed the Mobile Register a Florida birth certificate and Alabama driver's license to support her account. " from a news story at http://www.nospank.net/boysandgirls.htm
UPDATE:
Rich -- not sure if we can continue replying back and forth, but I don't think that Muhammad's age is relevant. Teenage girls also play with dolls. The point is that marriage -- to children, to widow, etc. was normally a political act, done to honor a family, cement political relationships or provide a home and protection for a woman. Consummation was not at the time of marriage and did not take place until puberty. Since you rely on hadiths (I tend to be a bit sceptical, since I think the Qur'an was dinvinely inspired, but hadiths are just memories of various fallible humans), you should note that Aisha seems not to have suffered (based on her words quoted in those hadiths). According to some accounts I have read, she would have been a teenager when the marriage was consummated, which puts her right in line with Alabama, S. Carolina and New Hampshire laws -- at least until recently.
I agree that God does not change, but society does and God's laws also change. Otherwise, why was polygamy allowed in the Bible and not allowed (at least in "Christian" countries) today?

Go to www.Atheism Awareness.com.
It stated that the Jeremiah today is longer than the one in the Dead Sea Scroll.
