Moses was the first evolutionist. His creation story describes the 6 stages of evolution required and used by God to create the Earth as an inhabitable place. A day is not limited to 24 hours, it also means a period of time. In my day, I was a good dancer. Does that mean that some time in the past that I was a good dancer for only a 24 hour period?

1. moses spent 40 years on the backside of the desert herding sheep. he didn't know it would prepare him to lead a million people on a great migration. you never know what the yucky jobs you're doing today will prepare you for tomorrow.

2. moses had a lot of flaws yet he was used by God anyway. God doesn't care about your abilities or that you're perfect. he just wants someone who has the right heart.

3. moses killed a guy and ran away. he found redemption. even the worst acts can find redemption if God is involved.

that's just three. hope it helps.

When I was a teen, I learned from Moses that if I killed a guy and hid his body in the sand, I could still call myself a Prophet later on in life. Thanks Moses!

When God asks you to call water from a rock. Never smite the rock with your shaft in anger. Or you will never be allowed to enter the land that God has promised your entire life. And you will have to wonder in the desert for forty years.
