I agree, sometimes it's frustrating asking a serious question and getting nothing but idiotic responses. I think you have to remember that Answers is entertainment though and lets face it you don't exactly have to pass a qualification exam to be allowed to answer questions here, besides some of the non serious responses I've gotten to my questions have made me laugh my ass off. In the end all you can do is make sure you have placed your question in the correct section ( speaking of which, isn't this question in the martial arts section only because you call yourself bushido?lmao) and hope that you get an informative response. Like I said it's entertainment and it's free. Lighten up dude!

It's true. I used to just ignore the questions about which style is better, or who could beat up who, but I guess I just decided to use them as a forum to vent my frustrations.

Good questions are considered good questions because they have a definite answer, and are not just subject to peoples opinions. Because of that, if you ask a good question and someone replies with a good answer, most people will read it and see that the question has been answered so they don't need to repeat the answer.

By the way, is there a school for Who Flung No Can Do Dung in the Portland area? Is it better than Karate?

Hmm.... i have this problem that my friends quit drinking early, so i'm smashed, but still up for 2 hours.... then post stupid questions or dumb answers.

I don't drunk dial fortunatly

Short questions are easier to answer though.

It really does depend though what type of dog it is. If a rotwiler(no idea how to spell that)...you can't do anything but let him have his way with your family. A poodle though, or possibly a golden retriever.....just leave it outside for like an hour and stare at him through your sliding glass door. He'll learn his lesson.

Yes!! this is very true there are far too many point snipers out there with one word answers,to stupid questions and sensible ones also just to secure 2Pt's

Stupid questions will always secure stupid answers and plenty of them.

But!!!!!!!

A quality question deserves a quality answer full stop.

If people take the time to compose a thought provoking and intelligent question then they deserve an appropriate response.

Hope this helps :)

Face it:

"Good" questions should be posed on forums for (mature) experts in a particular field. YAHOO!Answers is NOT the place for consistently well-thought out responses; lots of people will just give you their opinions, even if they are not well-informed opinions, so the # of responses should not be taken as a reflection of the quality of the question.

I agree 100%. There are a lot of people who just answer for the 2 points and havent given any apparent thought to the question. You question made me laugh though. Good job!

I agree bloke, but we are all guilty of it. Mostly people don't even answer the question if it's tough, they just insult you for asking the question without even giving a second of thought to the answer. Mainly its narrow mindedness, they are set into what they believe but anyone that's know what their talking about realizes they don't really know anything.

Good questions are harder to answer, that's why they get fewer answers. # of replies DO NOT indicate anything about the quality of the question.
