They have been trialling this software in the UK. They were going to use it to identify criminals and terrorists in London and the Airports. they recently had to suspend tests because if someone put on a pair of glasses, grew a moustache, wore eye liner, changed their hair style, wore a hat or even put uncoloured contacts in, it caused the software to not recognise the individuals.

They also found that the software needed the exact same angle of view. So if someone tilted their head slightly, the person would not be recognised.

They have had great successes, but it isn't there yet.

not accurate at all. in fact if u shift ur mouth slightly or smile if u had not been smiling it will not recognize u .

It is not close to the point of excellence it is proported to be.
