Ok this morning starts day 4 of my diet. I havent really been active for the past 7 mos, aside from regular everyday activities. So im havin a calorie intake of roughly 1200 -1500 a day. I try to keep away from soda, i drink diet soda instead. I walk and jog at 2.5 mph - 3.0 mph, anyways i do this for one mile each day so far. Its only been 4 days, I noticed the last two days I have been starving. Not because I am eating less, Because i drink water and stuff, and I eat when I am hungry, but hours later, or the next morning I wake up hungry like no other. I never was a fan of breakfast and I never was hungry in the morning before since i was a child. I've gone on low calorie diets before, and I never felt hungry like this. does anyone know what it means? Can it be because I am jogging? What does your body mean when it's hungry aside from you need something to eat? Metabolism is speeding up or am i burning fat ?help. email me too if you can advise me or be a lil diet buddy. thanks!

Good to hear that you are trying to do the healthy thing by exercising more and eating less re the hunger pains I hope you are getting enough protein in your diet as with the exercises you are probably developing some muscle and need the protein (meat) and the latest idea is that meat in small quantities is not fattening if all fat is removed; As for breakfast I have trouble facing it also as always have been too much of a hurry in the mornings and when I worked in the bakery it was a 5a.m. start but if you are feeling hungry it means your body does need just a little a small piece of fruit is good. Small is the important word so good luck and keep trying and remember to only weigh yourself once a week. measuring the largest part of your stomach area is also a good indication if you are doing the right things so good luck. so far this year I have lost 2 kg which is good as I do not want to lose any more than this per month as that is a healthy weight loss

If you're eating less than before (low cal) you should lose weight without too much exercise. Low carb works good because lot of protein and fatty food keep people feel full longer. If you don't mind being little hungry just do whatever you're doing and if you can't stand being hungry you could try low carb diet. Whatever you gotta do to eat less. That's what all diets help you to do.

It is the change your body is going through, your working your body more and eating less. That hunger means your doing good. The stomach is mad because you are not caving in and giving it a donut.Keep going until you reach your target.Good luck.

try having a lite meal in the morning, i don't know which diet you're on, but perhaps a banana or bowl of oatmeal, or blueberries/nuts if you're low carbing it. those nasty little rice cakes will do in a pinch.
