Of course jogging is more intense than walking. You'll lose weight faster, but it won't necessarily result in a nicer body. The trouble with jogging is that it is a much higher impact exercise. When you walk, you transfer weight from one foot to the next smoothly. When you jog, there is a point when both feet are off the ground and one limb has to support the total weight of you landing on it. You risk damage to your feet, ankles, knees, and hips. There are also people who insist jogging make people look older sooner. They say that as the body lands, gravity causes the skin of the face (as well as the breast of women) to bounce, and that the bouncing causes the skin to stretch and sag.

Both are good but walking is great. If you jog, you should also walk. It uses the muscles differently and has far less of an impact on your joints, especially if you have any structural imbalances like fallen arches or spinal curves.
Running or jogging will amplify any imbalances.
Running does use more energy and is more efficient of an exercise.
If you are healthy and your body doesn't have any structural imbalances, running is great. Don't forget to stretch afterwards.
Stretching before workouts is not recommended until you ave warmed up and then your stretches should be light and short in time (approx 20 secs)
After your runs you should gently stretch for about 30 secs to a minute but not more than two minutes to prevent damaging your tendons and ligaments.
Strength training is also important. Simple sit-ups and push-ups are good. Squats and toe raises. Be careful with weights. Less is more.
Try to have a variety of things (cross train).
Get professional massage. The therapist can help you learn good stretching habits and also helps ease the muscles and enhance cirrculation.

Well, walking for a longer time has almost the same effect than jogging. Walking more frequently is better than jogging rarely or not frequently at all as the body's metabolism is kept at a higher level constantly.
For the best to weight loss you also need to listen to your diet.

My previous personal trainer told me that it doesn't matter whether you walk or jog, they are both equally good for you. They both raise your heartrate during the activity and promote good blood circulation. Most say between 20 and 40 minutes of cardio activity is all you need each day. It doesn't matter at all whether you walk it or jog!

you will not bulk up with muscle considering which you're a female. provided which you're very consistent and use somewhat heavy dumbbells, then you gets Cameron Diaz's result that's huge- she seems maximum appropriate! yet once you opt to have much less bulk, then use lighter dumbbells and you have gotten toned palms with not bulk. walking burns extra energy than strolling. Doing this for 60- 70 minutes is quite solid for you, to boot as eating carefully and in basic terms once you're hungry. i discover workout uninteresting so I do Taekwondo (textile artwork). i'm somewhat toned and in superb condition from it. you will possibly desire to do a interest too. it is not a punishment, like I call having to run for 30 uninteresting, difficult minutes. Kick boxing is rather solid for you and burns fat so nicely! try this i opt to advise it!

Two of them have their own good points. If you walk, you will feel more pleasant and comfortable than when you jog. If you jog, you will have your hole body working out, and of course that good for your health. I think you should combine two of them together. You should jog everymorning, when you feel tired, you can walk along the street to relax.

for quicker weight loss and faster muscle development the running would be better (based on my experience). I can maintain what I already have with walking, but to accelerate things along, you can't beat a running program.

I would do the fast walk.It is less impact on your joints. Some will argue that jogging is better, granted for stamina and such it is.But it also is harder on the joints which later on you will appreciate especially if you have family members with arthritis.Make sure you have good shoes, that is very important.

you dont start burning fat until after 30 minutes of an aerobic excercise like walking or jogging, therfore the joggin would do better in terms of burning fat and building muscle as well.
