Men are born at a 1.02 to 1 ratio to women. More boy children die in infancy than girl infants, so nature (evolution) makes it so there are slightly more male children born. Anyways to get the actual number of women in the world, take total world population and x by 1/2. what someone else said 3,000,000,000 is about right. Could multiply world population by .98 if male children didnt die off so much.
However you probably want to know the number of women in a certain age range. so 12.5% for each age range up to 80. (0-10,11-20,21-30) etc. 80+ is only 12.5% since you get 80,90,and 100 and its still probably much less than that. anyways It's a decent estimation.
So a very crude estimation of 21-30 yo women comes to 375 million world wide.
Countries vary though, depending on the population pyramid (aka demographic) of the specific country. Now this is a quick and dirty
math, and not very scientific, but for a very round number, 375 million would do for most 10 year age ranges.
