We have been quoted £1,800.00 for 3 windows. This includes one large bay window (3 sections) and 2 large windows for other rooms. Is this a good price or should we continute to look elsewhere? They are white uPVC double-glazed windows.

No my brother luke is a window fitter and his company (Hardings) will do that for around half the price. That is a complete rip off go in the yellow pages and contact Paul Harding.

i assume the price includes v a t ..and i all so expect that to be for removal of old windows ..and fitting of new windows.. this is not a bad price ..a bay has a lot of work in it .two tips the windows must be INTERNALLY BEADED .and as they are large the windows should be reinforced with steel or alloy built into framework ..and one more ..have you got lintels over your existing windows ..if not ask does it includes lintols .. but if you want to avoide trouble in the future make sure they are fitted ..when windows are changed they should by law lnform building control to ensure correct fitting ..unfortunately non of them do . the glass should be pilkington k glass and the units should be 28 mm thick

,I paid £2,200 for 5 windows and 2 doors, but I'm in Yorkshire, and London is a higher cost of living. However don't just stick with one quote get a few. Good luck.

I work for an Scottish company that builds extensions and I deal with ordering and invoicing.
£1,800 doesn't sound ridiculous to me for 3 windows, one of them being a large bay window too, for QUALITY windows.
How long a guarantee you get with your pricing? It shuld be between 3 - 10 years.
