A lot of us when doing art or anything creative feel that we are not creating, but simply listening to something greater than us that gives the ideas and creativity. Although i don't know what it is that is giving that creativity God seems to be the most likely candidate.
I have heard a lot of artists talk this way. Some will talk about God, and some won't, but they all talk about it not coming from themselves.
