I have once, when I was about ten, I was in bed and I felt the springs go down at the bottom of my bed, just like someone was sitting down. I was absolutely petrified, didn't dare look.

after about 10 mins the springs slowly went back up as if someone was getting up.

A while after I come to the conclusion that because my nan had died 3 weeks before and I didn't get a proper chance to say goodbye, i took it that she had come back to say goodbye.
What about you?

I grew up in an allegedly haunted house. The ghost was a young girl who was supposed to have died in an accident at the brick quarry upon which the house was later built.

She was never seen but was heard by both my Sisters and our Mother at different times. My Father and I never saw or heard anything. Apparently she used to walk around the upstairs of the house and sometimes would cry softly. My Oldest Sister said that the girl got angry one day and told her to get out of the house, which she did. She said she waited outside looking back at the house for about 20 minutes then suddenly had the feeling it was ok to go back in.

The house was sold years ago when my parents divorced. I bought a house in the mid nineties hundreds of miles away, it's the only house I've ever bought. I discovered from a neighbour a couple of years ago that these houses were built on the site of an old brick quarry! Weird coincidence!

I haven't (and hope I never do), but my mother has. She's a custodian at the local middle school. The school stands on the same land of an elementary school that burned down from a fire in the 50's (it was two stories and, as a result, some of the children on the second floor couldn't get down the stairs in time and died).

She said that one night when she was cleaning the girls bathroom she looked in the mirror and saw a little girl in very old fashioned clothes looking at her. She quickly turned around and saw nothing. After which she demanded to have her route changed to the classrooms on the other end of the building.

On relation to your question, yes...I did have a ghost encounter.

I was about to fall asleep one night at an old apartment complex located in a bad neighborhood in San Jose. My bedroom door was closed shut. The lights were off. In the next room I heard noises thinking my sweetie came home. It seemed that the music was playing and the television was on. I noticed that the door was opening just a little, and a hand was about to flip the light switch on. I was wrong....it wasn't my sweetie. I was beginning to fear that someone was breaking in the apartment to hurt me. Then out of the blue, I saw two white shadowy figures standing over me. I was scared beyond belief. One person in a suit was walking back and fourth around my bed and a hooded shadowy white figure, with a dark face stared at me for a while. I thought the two people were planning to kill me, so I was thinking that was it. I am toast..I'm dead..I'm pray for a killing.

As I was about to let out a big scream, the suited shadowy white figure whispered "hey!" and then it or he disappeared into a clear see through substance and vanished. The hooded figure walked alongside of the guy in the suit and vanished as well.

I opened the light quickly and still felt that eerie presence in the room. Whatever it was, my eyes were wide awake and there was no way in getting back to sleep.

That was my first ghost encounter.

I've not seen a ghost but I did have a nightmare that kept repeating over & over until I woke up in a sweat one night.
It was about a man in overalls dying & falling back into a chair.

The next day, something stopped me from going near a particular part of the building I worked & lived in (a hotel).

The next day I found out that during the night, this old timer, who worked casually in the hotel, had died. He was found sitting in a chair & he was wearing overalls...

Apparently he had got drunk, stood up to go to the loo, he had a heart attack & he had fallen backwards into a chair, exactly the same as in my nightmare!

That was a very wierd experience!

Yes, I used to see apparitions all the time. I totally believe in ghosts.

My Husband use to live in this spooky house and I would always be afraid to spend the night because I saw this smokey gray blur outline of a person with a green shirt pacing back and forth the hallway. It was really scary.

I later found out that someone had committed suicide in that house.

Yes, I used to always seem to meet a neighbours husband in a certain part of the road on my way home from the shops, he always used to moan at me if I was smoking, and tell me about things that were going wrong in his life. He died, but about 3 weeks after he'd died, and on a sunny afternoon, I saw him walking towards me in the same stretch of road. I was worried about whether I should say hello as this would be unreasonable as he was dead, but I thought it'd be rude not to acknowledge him, so I stepped to one side with my shopping so as not to knock him with it, and nodded my head at him, he mumbled something. My poor brain couldn't cope with what had happened, so I looked over my shoulder, and he was gone. I couldn't see where he could have gone. As he was completely solid.
I have had other experiences, but that was one of the strangest as I'd never seen such a solid ghost.

I believe in the supernatural. My family
had plenty of experiences. That's the reason why I believe. If you haven't seen it for yourself, though,it would be pretty hard
to believe.Skeptics are going to disprove
things that they haven't seen for themselves.
Only you know that it's real, though.
Everything can't be scientifically rationalized.
That's impossible.Believe in what you see.

Nope, everything has an explanation. However, these explanations might not always be clear and present during the time of confusion.
