Make it a time for you. Make your study enviroment somewhere you enjoy being, play a little classical music quietly in the background (helps you concerntrate) and apparantly basil essential oil helps too. Your confidence will come from your increased knowledge. Remember it's human survival instinct to run away from something that seems too hard. But studying Isn't hard. Just keep on top of your notes and break it down into 10 -15 min chunks. When your out and about think about what you've been studying so ideas form

If you need to consume anything then herb Fo-teng also called
Brahmi in Sanskrit can help a lot. If this is not available at your
place consuming 5 almonds soaked previous day and peeling the
brown skin is important. It is advantageous if you chew it thoroughly
or else grind it in a coffee grinder.
If you do not want to ingest anything then holding Gyan Mudra
which is done by touching the tip of forefinger with the tip of the
thumb of both the hands and keeping other 3 fingers straight
palms facing upwards. Hold this gesture (mudra) for 45 minutes
in a day at a stretch or split it into 15 minutes in the morning,
followed another 15 minutes in the afternoon and balance 15 minutes in the evening or at night . It takes atleast 3 months to feel the effects. This mudra is safe and no known side effects
except those whose metabolism is fast referred in Ayurveda as
Vata constitution or in scientific jargon it is referred as Ectomorph and in lay man's language as small should not hold
more than 45 minutes in a day. Best of Luck.

Your shouldnt preasure yourself.
Try studying for about 30 minutes then go and make yourself a cup of tea or get a biscuit.
My favorate way to study is buy a big bar of chocolate set little targets like compleat a page of wrighting or read a page from my text books then have a piece of chocolate. Make sure you have a 20 minute break every hour and a half.
dont try and read a whole book with out a break because you will get bored

By telling yourself that you are able to concentrate and love to study. Also tell yourself that you are the smartest person in your class. Say it, think it, be it. Take charge of your mind. That is how I became a professional wrestler when everybody told me that I could not do it. Guess what? I sent them all postcards from Japan when they asked me to stay there for 2 years. All expenses paid too!

Study something you are really interested in. It is best to keep up with the work and do it until you have finished. It is awful getting behind. Keep you notes neat and in order so you can find it easy to revise later. Spend item on it and take pride in it. Remember, genius is 99% perspiration. It will be hard to work this way at first, but if you start getting good marks and get everything in on time you will feel great and it will encourage you to continue with this routine. Good luck!

To enjoy studying you have to be able to focus on it which means really wanting to do it for its own sake, or as a means to achieve something else you want very much.
Even then it is hard to focus if you have other worries which intrude or if there is no peaceful environment to do it.
Real, indestructable confidence only comes from coming aware of the real, totally amazing being who is inside and gradually 'appears' more and more as you gradually learn to be, just yourself,as you are, right now.

set out a table of goals to work towards and put in a reward for yourself at the end of each
whatever appeals to you - in my case it would probably involve shed loads of chocolate but you could maybe put in a few smaller things to treat yourself and then bigger things towards the end of your studies
keep a picture in your head of how you will feel when you have finished and how proud you will feel of yourself - indulge yourself with that feeling along the way and it will help you through those times when you feel it is too hard.
hope this helps
