I was injured in Iraq and The VA Gave me a record and now they?

Are trying to down play it. I have both copies of the paperwork so Its cool but at the same time they put me on too many meds for too long and almost put me out. I had a glass of wine and they recorded it as a bottle? because I let them know? What the heck?

I am still in the military and dont need another job. Was a gunner but here everything from computer to diesel mechanic.

The VA will clear your record when the time is right. In the meantime, enjoy the glass of wine.

Don't worry about it. When you get out go see a Veterans Service Officer at the DAV (Disabled American Veterans).

As some people at the VA explained to me - even though I am working at a decent job and making good money, the government of this country is still obligated to 'make things right' for what happened to me while serving my country.

The VA will try to save the government money by weeding out persons that do not really need disability or are trying to take advantage of the system. If indeed you need it do not give up! If you don't go get a job!

The VA? Want to check out a great book? Read STOLEN VALOR. I particularly liked the story about the guy who went to the VA hospital said he was a vet, couldn't find is DD-214. They said, no problem, we'll help you get it. Mean time he got thousands of dollars worth of medical help. Then they found out he was never IN the military!

the reason they cant find bin laden is that he came here as a Mexican and is working at the Chicago VA, attention Dr osama line three Dr osama line 3, jerk wont even answer his pages either...
