I just saw the movie the exorcism of emily rose. Do you all think it is possible to be possed by demons. My husband thinks it's not at all possible. I personally belive that it can happen. What do you think?

Yes I believe it can happen but I don't go looking for this type of experience, and neither should you. You have the Bible and it will take you forever just to master that, if ever.

Does your husband believe in the Bible? If not, there is no answer, if so then read to him from the gospels about Jesus chasing out the unclean spirits and transferring them into the pigs. Unclean spirits, demons!

I don't even know if they exist or not. It would be easy to conclude that they do not because their is no tangible evidence to support their existance. A religious person can talk to you under water insisting they do exist. Why do you believe that what you say can happen? Is your faith based on a gut feeling or direct experience? If it is based on direct experience, are you sure it is really experience or just delusion?

Well, I grew up in a Pentacoastal church were people someone became possessed by a spirit at least once during sunday service.
So, yeah, I think people can get possessed.

Personally, I only have to see Charles Manson on TV and I am convinced. I also believe the Word of God and Jesus tells us that it does happen. I believe Jesus.

Your husband's correct. Demons don't exist any more than ghosts, goblins, dragons, trolls, elves or gods.
