How come James Bond puked with salty water and I didn't?

Ok, so in Casino Royale, after James Bond pwas poisoned he grabbed some salt and a cup of water, mixed the 2 and puked straight away, but when I tried it yesterday [coz I was feeling sick] it didn't?

and yes the water was very salty!

Well James Bond practically poured the whole shaker of salt into the small glass of water so the salt concentration was extremely high. However the main difference is that the salt was only to aide in inducing vomiting. He was prepared and knew he needed to throw up the posion and the salt water only helped him begin the gag reflex. Enough salt should help you to begin vomiting.

Because he is an actor and the script said he had to drink the salt water and then puke. You on the other hand are not an actor and don't have a script to tell you what to do. You would find better role models for your actions if you found someone in real life to imitate.

Did you gulp the water or just take demure little sips? Probably as well, if you were in the later stages of poisoning, your stomach would be a bit more sensitive than normal and the salt water would irritate it even further?!

Was it salty enough?
You 'puke' because too much salt is bad for your body so it just kind of rejects it.
I swallowed salt-water from a swimming pool when I was 8 and I threw up.
Ps, our bodies can only cope with about 6g of salt per day, so I don't reccomend drinking salt-water often.
Ps, salt water is apperently good for mouth infections (ulcers, peicing infections ets if youmake it REALLY salty and gargle it.) GARGLE.)
