OK, I asked this already but eveyone thought I was talking about myself.. The following person I am about to talk about is not me...

If you are talking to someone, either online or in person - or on the phone, and you talk about not being able to cheat on your significant other, BUT you would be willing to dump them for a day so you can go have sex with the person your talking to, and then end up asking the significant other back out, so you believe its not cheating. BUT WHAT IS IT? Cheating, being Unfaithfull, or nothing to worry about because the two are not dating when the sex is going on.??!!

The answer I gave before still applies, just not to you obviously. Yes it's cheating. At any time, when you break up with someone, while all along having the intention of going back to them, it's not a break-up, it's a game, and in this case, an excuse, so that their conscience doesn't eat at them for cheating.

It's being unfaithful...commiting to someone means being with them through good/bad, thick/thin etc etc. If one needs to be with others they need to end the relationship for good and move on...not break up for a day, have a fling and get back together. Thats insane! It is also not fair to the significant other especially if they dont tell them what they did on the day they broke up.

it is not cheating, its almost worse because it is so premeditated, and the person is taking the other for granted. basically its cheating but with more of a coniving twist because the person has already figured a way out of being in trouble. All i know is that this kind of stuff always comes back on a person.

Controlling and manipulative is more like it. its not really cheating but if u hafta ask...........its wrong. Relationships are about trust and self controll, picking a fight so that u can break up, only to make up the next day, is ridiculous! Obviously the relationship of which u speak is not a mature one, they probably shouldnt be together at all b/c theyre not ready for committment.

Thats cheating. Dumping someone for a day to have sex with someone else is just playing games.

Call me old fashioned, but if you break up with your gf/bf with the intention of getting laid by someone else then going back to the one you dumped, that sounds like cheating to me. It's dishonest and immoral.

i believe it is still cheating because if someone is going out with someone else and breaks up with them for a day or a couple of hours they are still cheating if they go and have sex in thous couple of hours

It's being deliberately deceitful and selfish and unworthy of another chance with the significant other.

That's just playing with semantics - it is also manipulative and the person you describe is either very young or very unpleasant.
