well you dumped her friend so they are definitly going to talk about you, but also since they are friends your chances with her are kinda low because its her friends ex and its so not right to do that to a friend!!
but on the bright side if she really likes you then you'll have a chance and if the girl you dumped is understanding then you'll have a good chance

omg, i'm in like the exact situation. this guy dumped my best friend becuase he though i was hot and he was like into me or something. In my case- and it depends how good of friends they are- I dont think ill ever go out with the guy. (david is his name) becuase david dumped my best friend! like that could very well ruin a friends relationship...not to mention i dont think it wouold work beetween the 2 of us.because he totally has a 1 track mind (if u know waht i mean), I honestly dont think you should becuase it would always be an ongoing feud with your ex...she would proabbaly use this girl u wanna ask out as like a pawn to expose you in some way for being a freak or something...you know she tells your ex everything you say. it wouldnt work...but hey, its totally up to you - and it depends on the situation anyway. If the bad stuff about you is true I doubt your ex would really care if you ask her friend out or not. If the friend wishes to go out with you then that's entirely up to her. I know I would never date a friend's ex, just out of respect to my friend, but I wouldn't mind any of my friends dating any of my exes. Good luck. :)

It depends on two things;
1) Are they close friends?
2) Was the breakup really bad?
If you answered yes to both of these questions, you're screwed.

well it only matters if she believes what she hears about you because if she does then i don't think that she will go out with you but if she doesn't listen to or care about what is said then no it doesn't matter good luck :)
