Yeah happens at least 5 times a year. I lived in TO 9 years ago for 8 years.

Basically stupid drivers + snow + never seen snow before = major accident.

November and December are the most dangerous months to drive because all the new drivers (foreign and domestic) drive on snow and ice for the first time. They wreck their cars, and take so long to get replacements from insurance companies that it's usually spring before their back on the road.

Bunch of cars crashed near Coburg I believe on the 401. 30+ cars involved, at least 2 dead, at least 5 with serious injuries. The highway was closed for several hours. They are blaming bad weather, snow and icy conditions for it.

It was a 30 car pile up on the 401 !!
They say that bad weather was the cause of the collision!
2 people died. Many injured!! Bad explosion!!
