He has a myspace account.....so what, are you guys like 16? Grow up. If you called it quits, stop checking up on him and live your life.

It means that he has a large emotional space in his life that, at one time, you filled and it made him feel happy. Now that you have gone that space is empty ... it is a 'void'. In other words, he is missing you tremendously!
