Get your mind off of you. If you're able bodied, know there are other people in the world who could use your help. The world isn't about you. I don't say that to be mean, just to let you know that you can be useful.

Yes. Take control of your mind by knitting, painting, etc. Writing is also excellent. Write about why you are fearful. Do this at least 10 minutes a day everyday at the same time. You have to train your mind not to be fearful. Read about mediatation and prayer. Read something or write about something you know nothing about. You will be in charge of your mind. It just takes practice. And don't forget about singing!

You realize it's bad, so no bad is going to come out of your thoughts. Relax, if you don't want to actively think of what's coming to your mind, try distracting it with a book, tv, computers, whatever you like doing. Focus on peaceful scenes if possible.

Anything you suppress can show itself again. Diminish it by thinking positive thoughts. Nervous or anxious behavior is a form of negative thinking. Control your thoughts and your feelings will follow.

Hard to supress bad thoughts...............what i do sometimes is try to think of other things and if that dosent work i hurt myself by pushing my long nails into the palm of my hand...........
May sound weird but it works

that something happens to me too. i know how you feel. first, you can think of either the happiest thing in your life or just something small thats happy like you went to a wedding or something like that . hope this helps =)
