we're vulnerable and don't get the hints... they're out there. it's a tricky thing.. relationships and love.. i mean, who ever kills someone because they really respect and adore them? no one. it's because we love them.. not "we" but, anyhoo, love is the best thing to have, most uncontrollable, extremely hurtful, completely blissful at times,.. just the greatest gift ever given..

I think you may find that the problem is not confined to men. I have seen more than one questioner here say that women do the same thing to them - hetero and lesbian women alike.

So why do people do this? A variety of reasons - some are immature and can't handle relationships. Some are shallow and can't be bothered. Some are hurting and find the pain of break ups too hard to handle. It is not just men and it is not just one reason and relationships are a big learning curve.

You have to take the long view with relationships because in the first flushes of passion you may mistake a partners initial enthusiasm for you as a level of commitment - big, big mistake. Good relationships are tested through time and experience once the initial passion has died down.

Hope you find some healing and understanding in this and don't be put off because not everyone is a rat.

Notice what many of the MALES are saying - they are telling it like it is - about the putting out. Girls wise up. You are way way too easy (just a generalization, I know, but in general its true) There are some good answers on here. Live and learn.

Chances are, he didnt really know what he wanted. Any one can say anything, but that doesnt mean they ment it. If thiz guy iz acting like thiz then you really didnt need him in the first place... sounds to me like he jes wanted a piece and u either gave it up and he left or you didnt give it up and didnt feel like wasting his time. You found urself a true zero, get out there and find your hero. Dont give nething up until you know they are worth it.

He's a coward which explains why he wont answer, and you're better off without.

And before anyone objects, women are just as bad so don't think all blokes are like that.

guys break hearts for the same reason girls do. they get bored with the relationship, they met someone else, ect, ect..... but if the guy won't even tell you why he did it then hes a jerk and your better off without him good luck :)
