okay so me being a girl i've been thinking about the whole " where do you see us" question. Although I haven't actually brought up my bf has informed me that he thinks it's something important we should talk about. I don't want to bring it up I don't think it's in my place to do it or even the right time. I am absolutely in love with this man and he is for me. How do I explain to my boyfriend that I don't think I want to talk about it just quite yet and explain my unusual behavior the last couple days? I'm very optimistic and always bright and la la ala type of person. but the last few days I haven't been myself. How do I tell him it has nothing to do with him that I've been dreading the question as well? Should I back out or ask? I'm CONFUSED.

to people WHO don't understand what I"m talking about if you are going to say something negative please don't respond. I appreciate everyone else's advice however. This has helped me a lot.
I'm most worried about scaring him for those who wanted to know. I know in my heart that I don't want to be with anyone else and I've never felt this way so I think it's scaring me in a way too.

look , i think a straight mans point of view would help you best so here it is , i say that, because im guessing its all women telling you what they think , so here is my opinion , be open , tell him what you feel , you love him so don't hold out on him , sit down and put some serious thought into it , think from your heart , and then sit with him and tell him your true thoughts . don't worry about what he is going to think and don't worry about him getting freaked out and running off . if he loves you he will respect what you have to say . me and my girlfriend have had this talk more than once and every word she told me made me feel good , she gave me something to look foward to , she even made me cry , and trust me thats something i don't do , but i'll admit it i cried , not in saddness but in happiness , that is one of the most serious talks a couple can have , it can strenghin your relationship , it can even move you up a level , im telling you , talk you him !! you will be glad you , im not trying to get all Dr. Phill on you or anything . but im telling you it will make you feel good about yourself and him aswell ..... i hope you make the right decison !

Be honest. Tell him that you needed some time and space to figure out why you have been hesitating in discussing your relationship.
No need to discuss anything about your relationship if you two are really in love with each other. Where is this fear of yours coming from? Are feeling some hesitation or fear on his part is that why you were hesitatig in discussing the relationship?
Regardless, the truth must persist. You must discuss your relationship if you want to get to the core of the truth. You are either together or not - there's really nothing in between.
Talk to him. It doesn't matter if you started the conversion first or not. The important thing is your open communication and honesty in your relationship.
Get rid of the fear. The only way to do it is to find out the truth.

If he asks, just tell him that you've been kind of dreading the "where are we headed" question --- NOT because you don't care for him, but just the opposite: because you care SO MUCH yet you don't want to scare him or ruin a good thing. There is NOTHING wrong with being honest with yourself or with him. If your honesty scares him, he wasn't ready for the relationship.
Best wishes!

Don't keep the man in suspence, we don't like it, especialy when we care. If you don't know where it's going it's time to ask yourself what it is you want for yourself. Weather you think it's something you can learn (not study), feel or just plain work on your own persona. Do you think you can stretch out your boundaries as a person? Can you grow together? You got to ask yourself what it is you want. And so should he for himself.

if you feel that strongly about not wanting to discuss the future with him then you should tell him that. but you should really consider yourself a very lucky girl to have a guy that actually wants to talk about your future together because most guys don't like to do that. good luck :)

just talk about it.
the more you dont talk about it... the more you dread it and the more you worry.
if you two are gonna get to the point anyways... dont waste time worrying for something that has to happen.
tell him how you feel.
waiting, avoiding is like avoiding the truth and the future.
and the future is going to happen.
be strong!

If you can't tell him the simple, honest truth then you have problems. Show him what you just wrote. You shared the issue with a million anonymous people. Now share it with him.

Why do you feel uncomfortable about bringing it up when your future is involved as well. You should ask him being that it is something he wants to talk about as well.

I'm confused to.
WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT????
You can't even type it.
My guess is he's not the one you want to
spend your life with. :-(
Let him go. There's another woman out there looking
for a good man.
