well, I kind of wasn't ready for everything she offered in year 1 so we took a break, mostly my doing..asking for the break. Then, we stayed in contact cuz I really did love her, but could not tell her. I was just confused because I was not expecting things to happen so fast. We rekindled after awhile. It was great and I was coming around. I am one to fall in love over time..always have been. Now she has backed off just when I was in the process of falling head over hills in love...2 years of work to get there. So, I kind of dumped her initially, and went back because i did love being with her and the fact that she did not give up on me. I would advise not giving up on him. show him you understand his wanting to break up, but that you don't like it and you want things to be different. Some men can be complicated just like women. But if he comes back, don't play hard ball. There was a lot of thinking in him coming back. I am being shut off now and it kills me. I came out of a rough spot with flying colors and a better situation than I could ever imagine. but she did not support me through it. so, i am now pretty mad at her for giving up. don't give up on him. be selfless while he is sorting things out and try to stay in contact. best to you.

Depends. If he dump you because you cheat or do physical abuse well im sorry but he would never be regret for his decision. But if he dump you because he gets bored, make up so many excuses, or other fixable reasons, he might be regret eventually. You need to show him you are different now. For example he dump you because you were being needy when you guys were together. Improve yourself and change it permanently! Let him know you are having fun with your friends and you become someone better now! Let him know he what he missed could be someone else's gain. Cut off all contact with him as soon as he dump you! Make sure he has a chance to see you being better but not bitchy. The thing that could make him want you again is by seeing you as the same person he fell in love with not a person he broke up with. Once you look better and feel better, you are not only getting his attention back but you will feel peace and discover your worth!

If they dumped you, it's over. The only way I'd ever go back with my ex is if she suddenly figured out a way to become sane.

I recently have, and there is nothing that will see me back with her, took me quite a long time to end it because of the sheer possessiveness she had on me.

Honesty would've helped. Girls think guys are stupid and will believe anything you tell them. Give us more credit ladies. Be honest and come clean and maybe you will get a second chance.
