Hebrews 13:3 Remember those in prison, as if you were there yourself. Remember also those being mistreated, as if you felt their pain in your own bodies.

Honey, the Bible talks about being persecuted because we believe in Christ but you and I don't know real persecution!

Folks are getting raped, beaten, jailed, killed, etc.

You may want to reevaluate a little sand in your face. And hey... remember what Paul went through (2 Cor 11:23-27) and Christ too...

1 Peter 4:1 So then, since Christ suffered physical pain, you must arm yourselves with the same attitude he had, and be ready to suffer, too. For if you have suffered physically for Christ, you have finished with sin.

Meek means; patience, humility, gentle.
Jesus didn't teach a prosperity gospel and didn't practice having earthly possessions. He didn't have a place to lay His head.
He also said they who live godly in Christ Jesus SHALL suffer persecution. So, you can bring pressures on yourself as consequences of bad choices and attitudes, this in turn would bring chastisement, or from trials to test one's faith.
Our inheritance is in heaven. We are pilgrims and strangers here. I don't think we've resisted unto blood defending the faith yet. Not in America at least that I know of. I think it's coming though.

First Prophets do not favor to be printed Elijah and Elisha had total communities of Prophets yet they arenot listed. Jesus is the merely precise tremendous Prophet as he's God yet both Christianity. And Islam have self belief new Prophets nevertheless exist. Islam believes Muhammad is the seal of the Prophets meaning the merely precise tremendous one and we've self belief Jesus is. Islam don't have an answer. They declare to have the merely precise Revelation yet the Qur'an contradicts the Bible a lot that they are compelled to declare that we corrupted them and that the authentic Bible is lost. notwithstanding this contradicts the Qur'an itself which says that Allâh gave the Bible and that His be conscious won't be able to in any respect be corrupted. The Bible is a mild and guidance for mankind it says.Muhammad is seen the seal of the Prophets meaning he's the merely precise tremendous Prophet. Christians declare this for Jesus who's God in flesh. notwithstanding both have self belief new prophets got here after notwithstanding those being not so good as their best Prophets. Their best already printed the merely precise Revelation hence new ones merely reiterate what's already common. And in accordance to Christianity we are all Prophets via faith in Christ and preaching that Revelation compared to Islam. Islam don't have an answer merely Christianity does :)

Jonas(played by Steve Martin) from the movie "Leap of Faith" perhaps said it most humorously as "The only thing the meek can inherit is the short end of the stick!"

The key word there is "shall". He's talking about during his return to earth and will reign as king of all. At the moment, Satan is in charge. There will come a day when this will be.

That really depends on if you understand what Jesus said. Why are you meek. Jesus was meek and he got nailed to a tree, naked. Are you still meek?

is that a real question?

they shall inherit the earth as well as the righteous redeemed through Jesus Christ as savior and his blood. When this earth passes and sin and rebellion are put down then the earth will be restored and eternal peace shall reign.

Mr Squirl,
Grab a BIBLE and begin Studying. You should be able to become meeker and more HOLY in a few years if you start now. I would be glad to assist you when you are ready.

Study these scriptures and see what you think. To become a Christian:
HEAR - Romans 10:14 How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?
BELIEVE - In Mark 16:16, Jesus said “He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.”
REPENT - Luke 13:3 I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.
CONFESS CHRIST - 1 Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
BE BAPTIZED - Romans 6:3-4 do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
CONTINUE TO BE FAITHFUL - Jesus said in Matthew 7:21 "Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.”
Send me a note if you have questions. I am anxious to hear from you. Have a Great day.

Have faith in and rely on Jesus as your savior and when He returns to rule as King of Kings, you will be given your reward and inheritance. Why would you want to inherit this mess as it is now, anyway?
